School Based Learning Support At Annie's Centre we believe strongly in working in close collaboration with both parents and school professionals. We are now pleased to offer a new service within schools! All of our staff are training and highly qualified in offering our school based services.
School Based Learning Support for Children with: - Autism, Asperger's and related Developmental Difficulties
- Behaviour Diffficulties
- Language and Communication Disorders
- Learning Difficulties
- AD/HD
Schools or families can choose to request any of these school based learning support services: - Regular school based consultations including classroom and/or playground observations, meetings with school professionals and recommendations for learning support
- Attendance at school meetings to help plan Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Intensive classroom support such as teacher aide or ˇ°shadowˇ± services
- Consultation to schools regarding how to best set up the classroom for children with special needs
- Development of behaviour management programs for children with special needs. These programs are then reviewed and adjusted regularly within the school by our professionals.
- Development of social skills programs for children with special needs. These programs are then reviewed and adjusted regularly within the school by our professionals.
- School based Speech Therapy sessions
- School based Occupational Therapy sessions
